The Peak District is a beautiful part of England's countryside that is within a couple hours drive from many of our cities. The national park was opened in 1951 and is open to all. The usual rules about being sensible dog owners apply - keep them on lead around sheep etc. For more information call the Peaks Authority on 01629 816200.
