The White Rose in Windermere the Lake District is in the perfect location for touring and enjoying the whole of the beautiful English Lake District.The house dates fom 1817 and now has 6 stylish en-suite bedrooms - 5 double bedrooms and one bedroom that can be a twin bedroom or a double.We have five bedrooms in the main house - three are on the first floor (2 standard en-suite double bedrooms and one superior double bedroom) and two are on the second floor (one standard en-suite double and one en-suite with a large comfortable zip and link bed that can be used as a twin or a double bedroom) and we also have one ground floor en-suite double bedroom that is accessed via a small courtyard at the back of the houseThe five bedrooms in the main house have fitted bedroom furniture seating a colour TV and DVD player tea making facilities a hairdryer and clock radio. The ground floor bedroom (Bedroom 6) has free standing solid pine furniture a colour TV with DVD player tea making facilities a hairdryer and clock radio.Breakfast is taken in our attractive sunny dining room overlooking our small front garden area. We serve a substantial traditional freshly prepared English breakfast with chilled fruit juice a choice of cereals or yoghurts and accompanied by freshly toasted white and seeded brown bread.Whilst in the dining room browse through all the tourist information leaflets and the excellent touring maps that we have. Caroline is always on hand to help you plan your day. We can also advise on the full day and the half day bus tours that some local companies offer. We can reserve the tours so that the tour bus will pick you up from and deliver you back to the White Rose.
